the gh4 dc coupler does not plug into the sony l seies powerplate that worked with my gh2 coupler. wrong size make female ends. what splice cable do i need. please help. thanx

i bought my power plate from dolgin and it uses the sony np batteries. i know i need a new coupler im just hoping i can use the same power plate with all the sony batteries i have. the guy at dolgin didnt know if it would work

im using flowmotion 2.02. my average bit rate is 38 thousand. i use vegas 12 to edit and render. im wondering if i should be changing the default mp4 hdv file bit rate from the 17 thousand to a cbr of 38 thousand. any thoughts?

i shoot in 720p and with flowmotion 2.3 i had issues on three different fast cards. i hope apoclopyses works and spans im gonna load it but i think the framerate.will cause crashes. 24p worked fine with flowmotion. we will see.

ok brian. so u edit your movie in vegas. then u render as an avi in vegas and make your dvds n tmggenc. is this your workflow

so for 80 bucks i can get the latest version of tmpgenc 5 and that is much better than the ner 10 ive used for years?

you have been very helpfup brian. so render my vegas project to avi. import avi into tmpgec now what about burning lol? does tmpgec burn also? i normally use nero to author and burn but dont want nero to recompress

the cineform is not a setting in vegas. so i will render an avi out of vegas in the highest possible quality. then bring the avi into tmpgenc right?

@brianl if its standalone how do i get the project file out of vegas. what would it have to be rendered to before bringing it into tmpgen
