The Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S was the first mirrorless Z-mount lens to be replaced by a new Mark II version back in August. Asobinet now reports that the old/original version is already listed as discontinued in stores in Japan: Map Camera: Discontinued products, in stock Yodobashi Camera: Discontinued In the US, both lenses are currently in stock with a price difference of $450 (the new Mark II lens is now in stock at B&H, Erhardt, WEX, and Camera Canada): It is worth noting that not a single Nikon Z mirrorless camera is currently listed as discontinued on the official Nikon website – the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S will be the first entry.
