Lensworks Rentals has announced the release of the Lensworks X65 Large Format Prime Lens Set, a new range of full-frame cinema primes developed and manufactured in-house at the company’s Burbank facility. Founded in 2013, Lensworks Rentals is a boutique lens rental house located in Burbank, CA. The company offers a curated selection of cinema lenses, with in-house design, calibration, and service capabilities. The lenses feature fast T-stops across most focal lengths, consistent 110mm front diameters (except the 180mm), and compact builds suitable for a variety of production setups. Large-format lenses, a new trend? In parallel to Lensworks Rental’s announcement, Cooke is preparing to ship its Panchro 65/i large-format lens series at the beginning of November 2025.
