Core SWX MoXIE Solo – First Look at a New Mobile Power Solution

Last week, Core SWX unveiled MoXIE Solo, their new mobile power engine with 3,6kW AC and multiple DC outputs. Just a few days later, our colleague Graham Sheldon got a first detailed look at the new system during Cine Gear 2024. In the video interview with Ross Kanarek from Core SWX, they discuss MoXIE Solo’s specifications, types of cells, and the advantages of moving to such systems from traditional generators. As Ross explains in the video, MoXIE stands for “mobile, exchangeable, intelligent energy,” and in fact, those are the unique selling points of their new powerhouse. The major idea behind this innovation is to bring a greener and more sustainable energy approach to sets. What we want to do is replace 3K and 5K generators. That’s our game. Ross Kanarek from Core SWX Core SWX MoXIE Solo – one system, different outputs The MoXIE Solo offers 3,6 kW AC output with pure sine wave power that ensures a consistent current. At the same time, the system also has various DC outputs (15v, 28v, and 48v) with two connections and 16A pro each. According to Ross Kanarek, that’s a critical advantage of their product, as a lot of engines on the market only deliver AC output and sometimes need multiple layers of conversion to DC. For instance, you can use 28V DC for powering Alexa35, or connect a...
