  • Well, time passes.

Most probably they are out of business.

  • So has anyone heard from them? Seems like on their Facebook page, they've stopped responding. That's a shame, especially since I do want to upgrade to an affordable studio follow focus:

  • After reading the great reviews, I ordered a version of the S5. I don't need a dual focus, $299 now on ebay, so I ordered the same FF, but with a single wheel @ $199.

I figure I can always add another wheel later if I want it.

  • Yup. Agree with Emm. I am using it everyday. Zero play gearbox and top notch quality.

  • E5 marking discs and focus wheels looks nice

  • I'd love that one with hard stops

  • Shocked!!! Came up with anther model .. 149$....

  • After having some trouble with the S3 model (slipping gear, cam fell out), and discussing it with Lensse, they totally listened to our (Vic Harris and mine) input and came out with a new body. Now backlash is so tight, it's almost negative, better fastening knobs, and adjustable damping. They send me a S5 as replacement, support is super responsive and nice, and they are really fast at fixing things. I'm a happy camper.

  • Cool. It is good to see their progress.

  • Here is video review that compare, Lensse S3 and S5 Follow Focus. Seems S5 much better

  • First look the s3 and s5 look similar however once you cheek it in details the both products totally different expect focusing wheels. The main body is totaly new design that enables handling fastening knobs without hexkey. The gear looks much stronger than ex-model. It is same idea with arri follow focuses thought they inspired.

  • Yes it can,

  • Can the white disc and hard stops be transferred to the dumb side (other side of lens)?

  • The S5 images are available at their website ..

  • I ordered the 199$ deal and receive the upgrade. It got sent out yesterday...

  • They say the images are coming soon at online shop. This image from Lensse FB page. First look, main differences with S3 .. Main body, drive gear, metal fastining knobs and the feature I liked that metal knob which facing to us that should be a dampaning adjustment.. That is the dealmaker for me. I happy with my S3 however I already asked possibility upgrade my S3.

  • @astirix30

    Do you have photo/specs?

  • They came out with new model. Looks rock...

  • Great improvements and needed!!!

  • Very nice they are listening to feedback. I got my FF a few weeks ago, and everytime I have gone to use it I've just ended up putting it back in the box. The small fastening knobs were super annoying and fiddly, but if they improved those it will go a long way to make setup quick and easy.

  • I got this as part of my order update yesterday: FYI V4.Improvements ** Smooth Handling ** New Metal Fastening Knobs ** Adjustable Dampening

They have been very responsive to the feedback they got from the first buyers and they are shipping the updated units next week.

  • Thanks for the code!! I forwarded to my pal who plans to get it. I have been using the unit as a primary ff over a month. It is great except few things that though manufacturer already fixed. Anyways the unit works alright and it would be a great future products just need few small things to upgrade..
