  • Can the white disc and hard stops be transferred to the dumb side (other side of lens)?

  • Yes it can,

  • First look the s3 and s5 look similar however once you cheek it in details the both products totally different expect focusing wheels. The main body is totaly new design that enables handling fastening knobs without hexkey. The gear looks much stronger than ex-model. It is same idea with arri follow focuses thought they inspired.

  • Here is video review that compare, Lensse S3 and S5 Follow Focus. Seems S5 much better

  • Cool. It is good to see their progress.

  • After having some trouble with the S3 model (slipping gear, cam fell out), and discussing it with Lensse, they totally listened to our (Vic Harris and mine) input and came out with a new body. Now backlash is so tight, it's almost negative, better fastening knobs, and adjustable damping. They send me a S5 as replacement, support is super responsive and nice, and they are really fast at fixing things. I'm a happy camper.

  • Shocked!!! Came up with anther model .. 149$....

  • I'd love that one with hard stops

  • E5 marking discs and focus wheels looks nice

  • Yup. Agree with Emm. I am using it everyday. Zero play gearbox and top notch quality.

  • After reading the great reviews, I ordered a version of the S5. I don't need a dual focus, $299 now on ebay, so I ordered the same FF, but with a single wheel @ $199.

I figure I can always add another wheel later if I want it.

  • So has anyone heard from them? Seems like on their Facebook page, they've stopped responding. That's a shame, especially since I do want to upgrade to an affordable studio follow focus:

  • Well, time passes.

Most probably they are out of business.
