I had the Osmo Pocket out today shooting in the heavy snow and it seemingly dealt with it like a champ. Didn't have to baby it or anything. I know it's not weather proof but it had a good showing in my opinion.
lol. With that huge cage you almost might as well just buy a bigger gimbal which won't need a cage in the first place.

Connecting DJI OSmo Pocket to older phones and tablets, plus a versatile camera clamp
There may be almost a hundred video "reviews" of the DJI Osmo Pocket, many using pre-release versions that have different firmware than what one gets in retail. And by reviewers with quite limited experience with the camera in order to get out their review as soon as possible. The above two videos are examples.
It would be nice if the reviews posted here were curated knowledgably to sort out the misinformation and the hype. Since those videos were produced using the pre-release firmware, for example, there were firmware updates that substantially improved the audio and the AF, and removed Cine D. I am not arguing that reviews should not be linked here, but they should be accompanied by helpful information about them, not just dumped. What makes these reviews (reviewers) something (someone) we should take seriously? What are the limitations?
This footage is pretty terrible in that half the frame is totally gone blown because it was a very high contrast scene at sunset but I was trying to see what kind of automated camera movement you could get with the active tracking. I had my wife drive a few loops around a parking lot and just dragged a box around the truck. With a very light application of warp the movement looks nice to me and is much better than I could do with a video head (I'm not very skilled at operating one and following a subject smoothly).
That's impressive!
