Sachtler Cine 20, Cine 30, and Cine 50 Fluid Heads Launched

Sachtler has just revamped their Cine series of fluid heads with three models: the Cine 20, Cine 30, and Cine 50. The Cine 20 has a 100mm bowl and a payload capacity from 2 to 22kg/4 to 48 lbs. The Cine 30 and Cine 50 have a 150mm bowl and heavier payload capacities up to a whopping 50kg/110 lbs. So, if you’re in the market for a heavy-duty tripod head for your cinema camera, let’s take a closer look at these! The Sachtler Cine 30 HD fluid head was launched nearly 20 years ago, back in 2006. The latest release from Sachtler was the aktiv series and was aimed more at filmmakers/content creators with a maximum payload of up to 16kg/35.3 lbs with the aktiv14T. This tripod head is designed for cinema cameras with a weight ranging from 2 to 22kg/4 to 48 lbs. Still, this is a cinema-style fluid head, so don’t expect it to be lightweight, tipping the scale at 4.1kg/9 lbs. You’ll find seven steps of drag adjustments on the pan and tilt axis.
