RØDE has announced the Wireless Micro Camera Kit, a new addition to its compact audio lineup designed for DSLR, mirrorless, and smartphone creators. The kit builds on the success of the original Wireless Micro system, extending its use beyond mobile content creation to professional camera setups. RØDE is an Australian manufacturer of professional audio equipment headquartered in Sydney. Founded over 50 years ago, the company designs and builds its products in-house, with large-scale production facilities. The system supports both 3.5mm TRS and USB-C outputs for direct connection to a wide range of cameras and devices. For iOS users, RØDE’s Direct Connect feature allows wireless operation through the RØDE Capture app via Bluetooth. The camera receiver also includes a cold-shoe mount for quick attachment and an intuitive interface for on-the-go adjustments.
