Filmconvert added NX1 profile - http://www.filmconvert.com/download/camera-profile
Over the past several months, the NX1 (and its downscaled counterpart, the NX500) has quietly vanished from store shelves. Given the age of the products (the NX1 was announced in September of 2014) the idea of them being discontinued at this point isn’t altogether shocking or unexpected. What’s troubling is that no replacement models have been announced; Samsung didn’t even show any NX cameras or lenses at the most recent Consumer Electronics Show. Either Samsung is sandbagging its next camera release for reasons unknown, or, more realistically, it’s quietly exiting the market.

Regarding the Brodie Dawson interview: Color looks right, but skins are smeared and it's pretty unsharp. Maybe t was caused by high iso noise reduction, but more likely the exporting codec settings were pretty low. Blacks have severe makroblocking and bending. All i all it looks not good enough to my eyes.
I guess you are right. I should have take one when I saw it at 700 and 800€ :( ... Now I can't even find one used at that price (EU).
I believe this is still the best camera for 4K video and slow-mo with a price under 1500€. I was hoping on Sony A6300, but the heat problems looks to be there.
Lower price happens on last batch in big stores, and almost all is gone already. So, next low price will come in around 1.5-2 years and it'll be just few bodies on ebay.
An interesting discussion. I'll check out Reid's settings. I still would like to see a side-by-side with say, 5DMkIII or Nikon D750 with people.
@utezet You should check out that big thread on EOSHD about 'NX1 Ideal Settings'. The Vivid settings look to deliver great out-of-the-box color.
