GH2. What is best, Black & White in post or in camera ?

    Hello. The title says it all. Is there any theoretical reason for a difference in quality ?

    Since you can't get around the Bayer filter, I'd rather record color and play with the channels in post. The blue channel is the noisiest, and you can get very interesting 'silent film era' looks by not using it.

    Aiming at the less noisy possible image. I guess it is always possible to add grain in post.

    Are you looking to capture a clean image or one with grain?
