Why? The stock compression for the GH3 is already better than what we have for a hacked GH2. I think compression will be the least of the GH3's problems and there is no telling whether anything else can be changed.

I am donating to this because I think it "might" be possible to make improvements in the future. However, I am not counting on it as the only thing that would make me buy the GH3. In all likelihood if there are many things that really bother you about the GH3 a hack isn't going to fix all of them.

for naming, why skip to right to the present? With the differing direction taken here, using a sony sensor, maybe Khrushchev is a better fit...
