Changing spring in FC-04H?

    Has anyone tried to change the spring in the FC-04H head they bought though PV? When I bought the head I was shooting mostly stripped down, with only a mic, but now I find myself rigged up almost all the time with monitor, rails, ff, etc. So I'm pondering either buying a different head and using this one for my lighter set up or swapping out the spring. I have no idea where to even start for the swap out. Anyone with some guidance on how or whether it's worth the hassle?

    You need to carefully partially disassembly the head. Remove the top. Later use the side without any knobs.
    Spring is located directly inside.
