    ...but how to power it on-the-go?

    I want to use it as monitor for the focus puller and/or director and need to power it mobil. So I thought a USB-C powerbank would be an easy solution and got this Baseus 30000mAh Power Bank: https://de.aliexpress.com/i/4000958620294.html

    Its USB-C power output is definitly rated equaly or higher than the powersupply that came with the monitor - but it doesn't work. The monitor does not power on, even the little LED besides the power button does not light up.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I bought the 13” version a while back when it was on sale for about $180.

    Try using the USB C cables that came with the screen instead of any cable that could have came with the power-bank and then plug it into the USB C port of power bank. It works with the power bank that I have.

    Thanks for the comment. I tried it again and it worked with the cable that came with the monitor and also with the one that came with the power bank. Looks like I didn't press the power button not long/hard enough on my first try.

    But then I discovered the most stupid flaw of a modern monitor I have ever seen: This monitor can only work with 60 fps video - wtf?!

    Every other monitor on the market can at least display 30 fps and many of them can use 24, 25 and 50 fps as well - not fluid, as the display still runs at 60 Hz, but by simply repeating frames. The chip to repeat frames costs next to nothing...

    I'm not sure if there is a simple, cheap and small framerate converter on the market? Otherwise the monitor is absolutely useless pared with a camera.

    Especially ones that can save EDID and use it to substitute original EDID.

    As all the big can be in wrong EDID modes table.

    I think the cheapes option would be the BMD Mini converter Updowncross HD at 180 EUR, which makes this monitor really expensive - very unfortunate.

    Hooked up to my GH6, I’m able to view 24p and 30p footage just fine.

    You tried hooking up your camera to another monitor or TV to see if you can view 24p or 30p footage?

    @PauloTeixeira I tried that monitor with my BMPCC 4k, which works fine with other monitors. Here the HDMI output has the same frequency as the internal fps. 60 fps works, any other frame rate doesn't.

    Its possible, that your GH6 can output at 60 fps independent from its recording framerate.
