exiftool
  • Hi, I was wondering what command you used in exiftool to output the Clip Main Xmlns and enclosed data of the xml in the format of the document (http://www.personal-view.com/talks/uploads/FileUpload/87/0791c4e72e43e32b01fe33eab43980.txt). I can't seem to output this data in the output you have displayed in that document. Any help with the syntax would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Step 1: Download the exif tool. Step 2: Drop a copy of the executable into the folder where I have my raw files. Step 3: Make a copy of the exif.exe and rename it from "exiftool(-k).exe" to "exiftool(-k -a -u -g1 -w txt).exe". Step 4: Drag however many files of interest you want on to the "exiftool(-k -a -u -g1 -w txt).exe" file in Explorer Result: Those files will have new *.txt versions that contain the EXIF data.

Here is the link to the web doc: https://exiftool.org/

I pasted a bitmap that shows an example of how it worked for me. I dropped 5 DNG files onto the exif executable filename, and then it did its work and created the 5 TXT files shown. I believe that these have the format you requested?

    Very handy tool.

    Good luck.
