    From interview with Nikon Executive Officer Gokyu ShinYoshimi:

    • Nikon's sales for the 2019 fiscal year fell 22% for the interchangeable-lens camera and 18% for lenses compared to the previous year, But future is bright.
    • Nikon wants to increase the development speed of new products and shorten the lead time to put out new products (Z-mount). Yet doing exactly opposite.
    • "Smaller and lighter" is the future trend. But Nikon will stop making smaller cameras.
    • Nikon's future plan: to fully develop the Z system. But it is responsible for most sales fall and lenses sell horribly.
