Our CP++ 2018 In Depth Interview
PV Team CP++ 2018 A7 III shots
@rezyserzycia I think you have to qualify what kind of video your doing and what you need out of a camera. There are compelling arguments for almost every camera that does video. When it comes down to it there both good enough. That being said and to illustrate the point if you want unlimited recording Panasonic GH5 if you want better autofocus Sony A7 III. Only you can decide what is best for you and what you do.
I read it has a 1.2 crop factor only in 30p. Could you explain or link me an explanation?
Thanks
It looks quite strange, but for cheap amateur film projects Sony is can be better.
As it is much more FF cheap friendly lenses. And it is much simpler to make good FF lens than to make same for m43.
Yet Sony minus is price level of their E mount lenses.
Do you need to shoot in very low light? If not, the best answer to your question is "GH5" without the "s" (and use the extra money to buy yourself a decent lens).
What will be better for video? GH5s or this sony a7 III? The price is so close.
Nice one if priced correctly. The megapixel rate is very good for video on full frame.
@Scot I've seen specs on B&H suggesting it is limited to the usual 29 minutes.
I don't see any video recording time limits does this mean it has at least no predetermined limits?
