my German retailer told me they would maybe get two 24-70 lenses each month and my chances are slim to get one this year...ordered one from Austria and it may arrive in time before I leave to London on Thursday I am really excited about this lense no matter what the clown in the video above says also looking so much forward to the 70-200 with 2x converter, good days of shooting ahead!

The performance of the 24-70mm f/2.8 GM is exceptional. It’s the finest standard zoom lens I’ve had the pleasure to use.

Centre sharpness remains impressively high through from f/2-f/11, with f/16 being slightly affected by diffraction. The edges aren't quite as sharp as the centre, with f/2.8-f/16 producing the sharpest results

Usually not for good lenses. As you remove corners overall feel can be even better.
I am wondering if there would be any loss of quality/sharpness etc. if using these G Master lenses on a smaller sensor such as A6300? And if so how significant or not?
Good lenses. But. Sony, why they are so expensive?
