These lenses are focus by wire I read somewhere. Endless spinning focus rings… They're calling that "Master" level now?
anyone knows if there will be a 16-35 2.8 lense? I read some rumors and I am looking for a wide lense and would waitvot out instead of buying the 4.0 version now...
Both lenses show a very nice performance, but I was a bit surprised to see the Canon show up the Sony in most areas (if only slightly), despite being a design 15 years older. The lens is also notably cheaper, and is still cheaper even in purchasing the smart adapter to go with it. For that bargain price, you get a bit sharper cross frame performance at 70mm and 200mm, while the Sony is a bit better at 135mm.

going to buy the 24-70. will be my first lense without image stabilisation. so how well will the in body stabilisation work with this lense might buy the 70-200 too if I can sell my canon 70-200 for a good price...
