Hi Folks,
I was happy to have a Sony A7II over the weekend in my hands, have a look at my review here:

also, I made a little test video, "Winter Wonderland":

Stabilizer test
the A7II stabilizer is total crap IMO. Hey Sony, learn from Olympus!!! I guess it's gonna take a couple versions (A7III, A7IV, etc) before they figure how to make it right.
It’s a more compact full-frame camera than any other camera maker provides. It’s also a better camera than last year’s model in a number of ways: it’s faster to autofocus, more comfortable to hold, and works better with old lenses thanks to the new image stabilization system.
But many of the original A7’s faults remain: native lens options are still woefully limited and expensive (Sony offers a paltry seven, and a number of those overlap with each other), image quality at higher ISOs is not as good as other cameras, the autofocus system still lags behind, and battery life is still short.

Sony claims that focus tracking is 30% faster than with the previous A7 and the MKII is capable of shooting at 5 FPS for up to 77 fine JPG frames. My tests showed that about 30 raws at 5 FPS can be captured, and then the camera settles in to about 1.5 FPS until the card is full.

@abolit in this case, I don't care for moiré, nor even for video: this camera is very interesting for stills.

5-Axis Sensor-Shift Stabilization vs optical stabilization
Funny how the "Sony Artisan" guys call these adverts "reviews". I mean, there's nothing bad about an advert if you're honest about it.
@tetakpatak " I am simply speechless...." about the moire it produces as well
Is this the "one camera to rule them all"? What do you think, mates? OMG, 5-axis sensor OS full frame, I am simply speechless....
Fixed, hate Sony camera names.
