Video quality is good, with the camera recording full HD video with stereo sound. There are options to enable wind noise reduction, as well as set the recording volume of the microphone. Image stabilization is active when recording which helps steady the shot, and the highest ISO setting selectable is ISO3200. The camera does not offer different frame rate options, instead video is recorded at 30fps.

Hello everybody, Does the OM-D E-M10 provide clean HDMI ?
This could be a great camera for Wedding vids where you want to be able to move and get shots and use literally just about ANY old lens you could want. It has real advantages in that regard for getting shots with no real need of any stabilization rig. Can't pooh pooh that aspect of things. Really impressed that this is the lower 3 axis stabilization and it seems great anyway. Seems like a perfect little tool for the kit.
Despite the two missing axes, I have to say that Olympus engineers did a very good job in keeping the E-M10 IS up to the OM-D standard of excellence. In video mode, the differences between it and the E-M5 are barely noticeable. For stills, overall you are safe down to 1/10s, and even then, taking two pictures in a row and checking for sharpness on the LCD screen is always an option.
It is good stills camera. Soon it will be slightly cheaper.

The price is high, but it is a launch price. The GX7 was launched costing 999, and now is 749. I guess that this E-M10 will drop to 599 in some months.
Is an interesting camera for stills as a second body - for movies, not so much.
It's a nice camera. I don't think Olympus will change video in the near future. Video is probably a small fragment of the market compared to stills. I once asked them about 24p and 25p, and the response was that all modern TVs can do 30p. That's still negating the fact that most territories around the world have 50Hz electrical thus 25p option would be logical. With 30P we're talking only about Japan and North America. But again, Olympus doesn't see the need, and I don't think it will boost their sales by much if they add it. I would, however, consider buying an Olympus if it had 24p or 25p option. But I'm sure most consumers don't care much.
Being the GX7 that is superior and more complete for similar price, I dont see the sense in buying this camera.
