@act Yes, I understand that it records continuously to max 29 minutes. I just wondered if there is a way to know how much total time is left on the card :-)
@oscillian EM5 can write on 32GB 3h 17min.But I shoot only short cuts on OMD and long recordings on GH2's
Also eat batteries very fast too.
The manual says about 29 minutes, but in real life recording stops at around 25.
@act Lovely videos! How can you tell how much space is left on your SD cards when shooting? Isn't the E-M5 limited to 29 minutes?
Vitaliy_Kiselev , you have E-M5 camera?
Niiice! With these firmware update we can hac.... Ok, ok! I will not ask you that... But...

shock battery hold more than hour, may be two, can't say exactly. 3rd party batteries show level of charge, work well but can't charge them with genuine charger. Buy set of 2 batteries and their charger at ebay. I use battery grip too it hold twice longer. No problem with shots stopped on battery runs out. Not sure about external power cord.
Few questions about powering EM5.
We have separate topic made by Seb about it.
I really like this one
Yes! it's the AWB only! I though when you choose awb, it was for the one time, before the start, then everything would be related to the moment you set the awb. But, during video, the awb makes everything changes cause it's always active. Thanks guys, but now how to set a good custom white balance without nothing with me? I think i cannot trust the preset..or...some suggest? Thanks A LOT!
the cam see outside (window) inside (tungsten neon or just shadow) if you are on auto white balance and auto exposure that's normal the cam try to adjust. try manual settings. just a guess I don't have this cam.
Hi guys, today i've take some shot with my Em5. There's one problem: when i'm in a room and turn around, colors in camera change SO MUCH, even the lights change TOO MUCH, just watching with the camera first on the right, then to the left, and so on. What's the matter? In the room nothing change, the lights conditions are always the same. I am a bit worried...
Problems with my settins, maybe?
