50-200mm F2.8-3.5 Zuiko 4/3 zoom, non SWD

Guys, thinking about buying this lens to go with my GH2. Just wondering if anyone has experience, or indeed just opinions about this lens for video use ? Weighing up the pros and cons of this vis a vis the Panasonic 35-100 f2.8. No IS on the Oly, but greater reach and under half the price, but also heavier. Cheers

It's quite slow to autofocus. If you're using it for video work, you'd probably want the SWD version which has a mechanically linked manual focus ring.

@strangeways. hey thanks for the advice but why would the non swd version be no good for video work re the focusing? I'm a noob.
