Sony cancels "The Interview" release

  • Here's part of the fbi statement -

Technical analysis of the data deletion malware used in this attack revealed links to other malware that the FBI knows North Korean actors previously developed. For example, there were similarities in specific lines of code, encryption algorithms, data deletion methods, and compromised networks. The FBI also observed significant overlap between the infrastructure used in this attack and other malicious cyber activity the U.S. Government has previously linked directly to North Korea. For example, the FBI discovered that several Internet protocol (IP) addresses associated with known North Korean infrastructure communicated with IP addresses that were hardcoded into the data deletion malware used in this attack. Separately, the tools used in the SPE attack have similarities to a cyber attack in March of last year against South Korean banks and media outlets, which was carried out by North Korea.

If you have read "the terror factory" by trevor aaronson then you know setting up people or governments is what they do. Now if you want to believe the fbi , being a fool is ok by me. But if they are setting up NK, then who would have the knowledge to do what this says ? Obviously nsa/cia !

    addendum.... ....from wired -

First off, we have to say that attribution in breaches is difficult. Assertions about who is behind any attack should be treated with a hefty dose of skepticism. Skilled hackers use proxy machines and false IP addresses to cover their tracks or plant false clues inside their malware to throw investigators off their trail

    ...and this is interesting -

...and this is interesting as well -

  • NK may look batshit crazy to the West, but why are we surprised when they are offended by this movie? OK, you can call it "satire" or "comedy" but it doesn't stop them seeing it as arrogant and deeply insulting. You can see it as a threat to free speech, or you can see it as a corporate crossing a line. They would of course push back.

  • Amongst the masses of information accessed on Sony's hacked server there will have been confidential communications which, if revealed, might truly compromise the corporation.

So it's possible Sony have a gun to their head. Their withholding of this particular film's release would be a starting point for ongoing negotiations with whoever organised the hack.

  • ....all of these IP’s could be used by just about anyone. They are not in country at the DPRK and they are not on Chinese soil either. In fact here is the dope on each one:

  • I think the digital false flag isn't so far fetched at all, but I believe this is not the false flag that gets the army mobilized, etc, this is the false flag that plants the seed in the idiots of the general public that North Korea somehow fucks with their lives and happiness. It's probably just one step in the manufactured staircase escalating to yet another ridiculous war-job.

DumbassAmericans: "Hey! Korea dun took my Chrismas-movie-fun-time away! What's next, mah guns?! Come on boys, lets gettum!"

  • @jleo That Woody Allen clip was funny - nice one.

  • Sony cancelled fuck all the theaters did - get a grip America - ROW know you aint running tings anymore do you ?

  • Its all over usenet too.

  • I watched it last night - pretty stupid movie. In my opinion: worth the watch just so you can say you saw it, but probably not worth your full attention. Overall it felt like a pretty juvenile 13 year-olds fever dream. I'll reluctantly admit, I liked some of the scenes that poked fun at the two 'american stereotype' characters that Rogan (an 'awarican') and Franco (an 'ignorarican') played: Franco having to check every single fruit before coming to his conclusion got a chuckle out of me. All in all, probably a 1 out of 5 stars movie for most people, but like I said, I think it's worth the watch just to say you saw it. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the digital torrent was Sony leaked and a digital Honeydick.

  • BREAKING: We Have IDed Two Female L.A.-Based Persons of Interest in Sony Leak

Our research shows that the Sony leaker most likely worked like Private Bradley Manning or NSA contractor Edward Snowden, by downloading all of the material onto an external hard drive and walking out. The hacking was not primarily internet-based hack.

    http://gotnews.com/breaking-ided-two-female-l-based-persons-interest-sony-leak/

Gotnews.com can confirm that North Korea was not behind the Sony hack contrary to major media reports.

An investigation into the data shows that someone copied the released 200GB of data over 5-6 hours on the night of November 21st.

  • yes ....it's on sale here by piraters. It's a good quality dvd..i.e better than a clone. However it's badddd ! Thank god for the advance chapter button !

@jleo...what ?? This sounds like the nsa trashing their enemies to me ! ...worked for bradley manning or ed snowden ....hahaha ....what a bunch of BS !

  • No...it said " like" Private Bradley Manning not "for". However, the way the media took hold of the info suggests larger actors in the affair other than a "lone nut" Sony employee. The Interview may have just stole your Internet freedumbs! :)

  • the whole story is probably a false flag.

the film is very dangerous as it is essentially negative propaganda disguised as harmless juvenile comedy.

  • According to a press release that just hit the Treasury Department's website, President Barack Obama has issued an executive order that calls for even more restrictive sanctions on North Korea for its role in the massive hack attack on Sony Pictures late last

Well, now it is clear why it was required.

  • surprisingly, as anti-north korea as the film seems on the surface, there was a scene in which the north korean leader bashed james franco by blaming the sanctions imposed by US for the poor conditions of the people in North Korea.

  • yep this proves it was a falseflag. When every IT pro on planet earth said NK didn't do it, King Ob-mama still sanctions ! I guess he was so embarrassed getting caught with his pants down in a publicity stunt, he couldn't admit his nsa team got caught.

  • How WWIII starts: A mosquito bites Seth Rogen's butt. President Ob declares it a North Korean assassination drone and launches a first strike. NK retaliates and the world supply of Samyang lenses is vaporized!
