GH3 - "Please turn camera off and then on again"

    Anyone know how to deal with this problem? I've changed battery, SD card, and nothing but this screen shows when I turn the camera. Not sure what to do.

    I have occasionally had something similar with the GH2 when the lens contacts were not making a good connection. Have you tried doing the switch-on after either reseating or removing (and replacing with the body cap, of course, to keep dust out) the lens?

    I don't know the GH3 but is there some sort of hard reset somewhere on the camera body? EDIT apparently there isn't. Only other thing I can suggest is to leave card and battery out of the camera for a few hours and then retry, but let us know if the lens thing works.
