Zoom Instamic Pro Plus C Introduced – Compact 32-bit Float Recorder with Timecode and Waterproof Construction

Zoom has released the Instamic Pro Plus C, a compact audio recorder designed for field recording and production work. The device records in 32-bit float format and includes built-in timecode functionality. Let’s take a closer look. Zoom Corporation is a Japanese manufacturer specializing in portable audio recording and processing equipment. The company produces a range of products, including handheld recorders, field audio recorders, multi-track recorders, audio interfaces, and effects processors, catering to musicians, videographers, and audio professionals. Instamic had established itself in ultra-compact wireless microphone technology with applications in film production, action sports, and wedding videography. The California-based company, which also operates in Europe, brings specialized wireless microphone products into Zoom’s portfolio Instamic’s omnidirectional MEMS mics. (In other words, a miniaturized, pressure-sensitive microphone using Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems technology that captures sound equally from all directions).
