I was joking with a buddy of mine recently that Hollywood is so focused on getting people to the theaters to see movies, they're making them so long that we never get the opportunity to leave. And while I know that's hyperbolic, it does feel like every movie I'm going to see in theaters has been eventized into an entire night out.
