Vin Diesel Wants An Emotional On-Screen Reunion with Paul Walker in 'Fast & Furious 11'

The Fast & Furious franchise kicked off as a movie about an undercover cop infiltrating a street racing gang to get intel after a series of robberies. That cop, Brian Walker, was portrayed by Paul Walker, who instantly became a star alongside Vin Diesel. The two of them turned this action movie into a global phenomenon, and the world of the movies expanded into spies and world-ending disasters they had to thwart. These movies defined the action genre with its high-octane stunts and themes of family. But Paul Walker's tragic passing in 2013 left a void in the hearts of fans and in the narrative of the films. His character was given a touching and respectful send-off in Furious 7, driving off into the sunset to take care of his family. It was a moment that served as a beautiful tribute to the actor. And it genuinely floored me when I saw it because it was so tasteful and respectful, love radiated out of it. But as we near the 11th movie and end of the franchise, this may not be the last we've seen of Brian....and of Paul Walker in these movies. Over the weekend, Vin Diesel hinted that to have an 11th movie, they had to bring Brian...and Paul Walker back. Speaking at the recent Fuel Fest in Pomona, California, Diesel, alongside co-star Tyrese Gibson and Paul Walker's brother, Cody Walker, dropped a bombshell.
