Accsoon recently teased an interesting on-camera accessory that could change the video monitoring world: the Accsoon M1. This compact adapter allows you to mount your Android smartphone to your camera and converts the camera’s HDMI output to a USB Type-C signal for your phone. In short, the Accsoon M1 turns your phone onto an on-camera monitor. Let’s take a closer look at it! Chinese manufacturer Accsoon is mainly known for its lineup of wireless video transmission systems like the Accsoon CineEye 2S Pro and the CineEye 2. The company recently started manufacturing camera accessories by introducing their Power Cage for iPad that we reviewed. To go even further, Accsoon recently teased the M1 on their social media. This adapter is designed to go on top of your camera rig. You can mount it with what looks like a 1/4″-20 mounting point.
