The arc of the original characters in the Avengers, from the first team-up movie all the way to Endgame, was fantastic. It was quite literally the best a huge blockbuster could do, and it left everyone feeling so satisfied...especially Captain America. That's right, no one had a happier ending than Steve Rogers. The guy got his best friend back and saw him turn into a hero, saved the world and all his other friends, and then was able to go back in time to settle down with his sweetheart. It was a journey that felt so heartfelt and so earned...so why are the people at Marvel ruining that now by bringing him back for Avengers: Doomsday? Avengers: Doomsday Teaser When we woke up this morning and heard there was going to be a teaser for Avengers: Doomsday, we were all excited in the office. But as we crowded around laptops to watch, there was a bit of a collective gasp. Steve Rogers was back in uniform...but at what cost? The Doomsday teaser shows us a man living his best life with a wife and a baby, but insinuates he will be ripped out of paradise to fight an unseen villain a year from now. Look, the movie is called Doomsday...why not show him? He's the real draw! Captain America retired in the best way possible. He has a family he loves and was getting to make up for lost time with Peggy Carter. The idea of another movie hinging on bringing...
