Teradek has released the Wave, a 7″ live streaming monitor that handles encoding, smart event creation, network bonding, multi-streaming, and recording. This compact package features a 1000nits touchscreen display, and even if it only has one HDMI video input, this device has the potential to become the next all-in-one device for content creators who need video streaming features. With the pandemic, many of us had to change our way of working, and live streaming has surely become the “new trend.” To do so, filmmakers also had to adapt, and devices making their lives easier exploded with dozens of options now available on the market. Teradek is mainly known amongst professional filmmakers for making high-quality – and usually expensive – wireless video systems.
