Sound Devices recently released new firmware updates, version 9.00, for its MixPre-Series I and II audio recorders that now support two instances of the NoiseAssist plugin, a new +2ch plugin for the MixPre-3 that turns it into a 5-channel/7-track recorder with extra channels sourced from the Aux or USB input.
