Sony recently released an upgrade version 2.0.0 for their Monitor & Control app, which includes support for the BURANO and FX6, anamorphic de-squeeze, multi-camera monitoring, and more. During IBC 2023, Sony introduced the Monitor & Control app, a free tool available for iOS and Android devices that connects to your camera wirelessly. The app allows you to monitor your video signal, change camera settings, and access multiple monitoring tools such as a waveform, histogram, and false color. At launch, the app was only compatible with the Sony FX30, FX3, and FX6, but Sony had plans to support more cameras in the future.
