Sennheiser Profile—New USB Condenser Microphone Released

Sennheiser launched a new USB condenser microphone that is designed for streamers, video podcasters, YouTubers, video journalists, or any other content creators. It is very simple to use-just plug it into your computer and you can start recording right away. The Sennheiser Profile retails with a desktop stand for $129 or as a streaming set with a boom arm for $199. Let’s have a closer look at the USB microphone. Sennheiser is a German-based manufacturer with a history of over 75 years for audio products, like the first shotgun microphone MD82 released in 1956, or the iconic headphones HD25 from 1988. Founded in 1945 near the city of Hannover, it continues to be run as a family business, now in its third generation. But after several decades of developing professional high-end audio equipment, it seems that Sennheiser is focusing more and more on the consumer market of YouTubers and even smartphone shooters.
