Big news in the gaffing world, Aputure has just announced that the company is releasing several new firmware updates for many of the company’s popular lights and transmitters. These updates are set to add some significant new functions and improvements to these popular products.The firmware updates will bring bug fixes and upgrades to the following lights including the STORM 80c, STORM 1000c, and STORM 1200x fixtures, along with updates to the Sidus Four transmitter and the MC Pro mini light.Let’s look at these firmware updates and go over where and how you can upgrade your Aputure products today.Aputure Firmware UpdatesAs mentioned above, this is a pretty big list of Aputure products that are set to get updates. This latest firmware update drop will include some notable improvements, like a new function for the Sidus Four that will add WiFi channel selection and 2.4 GHz blocking for CRMX.The Aputure STORM 1200x also gets a version 1.3 update that will add a power limit function with adjustment between 700W and 1450W.
