NANLITE has announced the PavoTube II 6CP, an upgraded version of its popular 10-inch LED tube light. The new model features a 10% brightness increase, 30% longer battery life, expanded color temperature range, and a new Gel mode with 460 LEE and Rosco filters, all while maintaining compatibility with existing PavoTube II 6C accessories. The compact LED tube light market continues to evolve, with manufacturers refining their offerings based on real-world feedback. NANLITE’s latest release addresses key user demands for more power, better color control, and extended runtime in a portable package. Nebula C4 color engine delivers enhanced performance At the heart of the PavoTube II 6CP lies NANLITE’s proprietary Nebula C4 color light engine. The upgrade delivers 661 lux at 0.5m (5600K), representing a 10% improvement over the original PavoTube II 6C. The color temperature range has been significantly expanded to 2,400K-12,000K, compared to the more limited range of its predecessor. Professional color tuning capabilities have also been enhanced, with green/magenta adjustment now extending to ±150 (up from ±100 on the 6C). This expanded adjustment range allows for more precise matching to camera sensors or other light sources on set. Color accuracy remains strong with CRI/TLCI averages of 95/95 and TM-30 Rf/Rg averages of 92/100. NANLITE PavoTube II 6CP Gel mode.
