Kevin Smith on the Resurrection of 'Dogma'

As a kid from the East Coast who hung out a lot in comic book shops and went to Wizard World every year, I am a pretty big fan of Kevin Smith.His films are eclectic, weird, and polarizing, but no one can deny that he's an artist with a particular point of view. and a great writer. One of my favorite movies of his is Dogma, a film almost lost to time thanks to the Weinstein scandal, but now back for a theatrical release. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the controversial and beloved film Dogma, director Kevin Smith recently joined "The Rich Eisen Show" for a look back at the making of this cult classic. Before there was Marvel and DC, Kevin Smith was telling stories that all sort of related in small town, New Jersey. The fourth movie in his collection was Dogma, a satirical fantasy exploring themes of faith and religion as two fallen angels try to return to heaven via a loophole given by modern Catholicism.
