Many movies seem like they were made in one take. But what's it like to actually make one in one take? Philip Barantini has had a full career on-camera, and he never had the confidence to fulfill his interest in becoming a director. Until a friend gave him a nudge, and he started down the path he realized he was well equipped for. Philip's feature film Boiling Point is actually one take. Learning how he directed the movie is fascinating when you consider he also suddenly had COVID-19 lockdowns interrupt his production. But more than that, Philip breaks down how he went from unsure of himself to confident in the role. From a short, to a first feature, and back to the concept of Boiling Point on a larger, feature scale, he shows us how he evolved, made his creative decisions, and lived with the various consequences.
