You may have seen the incredible FPV video Tesla released to mark the opening of its Berlin Gigafactory a few weeks ago. The video has more than 2.5 million views so far, and a lot of people have been wondering: who is the FPV drone pilot behind this insane video? We got a chance to interview Ferdinand Wolf and ask him about the scoop on how he did it. Let’s get to it! In the past, we already had the opportunity to interview Ferdinand, this time introducing the then brand new DJI FPV drone, which you can watch here. This time he used the drone himself to fly through the new Tesla Gigafactory just outside of Berlin, and lucky for us, he has quite a few interesting details to share. For example, Tesla reached out to Ferdinand directly as the original idea of the video was to recruit new employees for numerous open positions at the new factory.
