Marvel is kicking off a whole new adventure into the extensive world they've built with Thunderbolts. It's an epic look into what has happened since Endgame, and how some of Marvel's fallen heroes are able to step up when the world needs them. Now, Marvel has released a behind-the-scenes interview talking about how the movie was made with such an epic ensemble. The video contains on set interviews with Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Sebastian Stan, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Olga Kurylenko, Wyatt Russell, Lewis Pullman, Hannah John-Kamen, and director Jake Schreier. Let's dive in. Making of 'Thunderbolts' I love a Marvel behind-the-scenes video because you can tell the budget is really high, and you can see all the toys production gets to play with on set. But with this movie, even though there's a ton of CGI, it was cool to see such a focus placed on practical effects and doing things in camera. The production also utilized IMAX cameras, promising a truly immersive spectacle that only movies at this budget size can deliver. The general thrust of the video is that the cast members delve into the experience of revisiting a post-Black Widow world. So, what makes these characters resonate? All of the cast agrees this is a team built out of their imperfections. Everyone has personal stakes and a desire for redemption. This means the characters are designed to be relatable to audiences.
