Fotodiox has just introduced a new series of four lens adapters that allow you to mount Canon EF glass on either Canon RF or Leica L-mount camera bodies. The Fotodiox Cine Edition Fusion adapters feature a cine-style positive-lock EF mount, support electronic communication between the camera and the lens and come in two flavours, with or without a built-in variable ND filter. Pricing starts at about $400. Accessory and lighting manufacturer Fotodiox already offers lens adapters that enable you to mount Canon EF lenses onto Canon RF or L-mount cameras. These are available in two versions, with or without an internal Vari ND filter. However, the existing versions lack a key feature for filmmakers, namely a rock-solid connection between the camera and the lens, which is essential to avoid lens wiggle when pulling focus.
