FEELWORLD P6XL On-Camera Field Monitor Released – Built-In Battery, Compact Size

At IBC 2025, Johnnie stopped by the FEELWORLD booth to chat with Ting Feng about their latest release, the P6XL 6-inch, on-camera monitor. At first glance, it looks like another compact field monitor, but one key feature really makes it stand out: a built-in battery. FEELWORLD is no stranger to the monitor market. The company recently introduced larger broadcast director monitors, including the FEELWORLD SEETEC P133 PRO and P215 PRO, which we covered just last month. With the new P6XL, FEELWORLD shifts their focus back to portability. Ting described the unit as a “pocket monitor”, emphasizing its compact size and convenience for smaller rigs. That usually adds weight and bulk to the back of the unit, which can throw off balance on a gimbal or compact mirrorless setup. The result is a lightweight, pocket-friendly monitor that pairs well with smaller cameras such as the Sony ZV-E10, Fujifilm X-S20, or Canon R7. Without a large battery hanging off the back, rigs stay compact and balanced. The built-in battery runs for about two hours at full brightness. While that will not power you through a full shoot, you can recharge or run it using USB-C or connect an external power bank. Image Credit:...
