About the Nikon Z 6 The Nikon Z 6 (released in November 2018) is a full-frame (Nikon FX format) mirrorless camera for which the Nikon Z mount was adopted. It is equipped with a backside illumination Nikon FX-format CMOS sensor with built-in focal-plane phase-detection AF pixels. It has an effective pixel count of 24.5 megapixels, and supports an incredible ISO 100-51200*1 range of standard sensitivities. It is also equipped with the new EXPEED 6 image-processing engine, which enables extremely sharp and clear rendering.
