How will The Crown handle one of the most controversial interviews ever given? In 1995, the BBC's Martin Bashir interviewed Princess Diana in what would become one of the most famous sitdowns of all time. It was in this interview where Diana famously said, "There were three of us in this marriage." News that The Crown would tackle this interview in an entire episode of the new season broke recently. While we don't know where the episode goes, in real life, Prince William and other Royals have said that specific interview has "no legitimacy" when it was exposed that Bashir used specific tactics, including falsified documents to gain Princess Diana's trust.
