The developers at Blackmagic Design have kept busy over the last few weeks (the last update was only in October) and have now released version 18.6.3 of their popular video editing suite, DaVinci Resolve. This latest version now includes the possibility to sync media from network folders for cloud projects. The project owner can now sync between their Blackmagic Cloud Store and any drive or folder that has been attached to the network. What’s new in Resolve 18.6.3? New syncing options A new option has been added to prevent sleep mode while files are uploading or proxies are being generated. This allows these functions to continue regardless of what power-saving options have been activated on your computer. A new dialogue menu has been added when importing projects to a cloud project library. You can now set project settings such as media and proxy storage locations when starting the import. This ensures that the project is correctly structured after importing. Speeding up delivery You can now select proxy media rather than camera originals for web presets, thereby speeding up delivery and saving unnecessary processing.
