Australian lighting manufacturer CreamSource has released a new firmware update for its Vortex Series RGBWW LED lights: CreamOS 2.5.0. This version includes multilingual support, at least 30 new DMX modes, CRMX2 support, and multiple CRMX updates. So let’s take a closer look at this free firmware update, available now! CreamSource is a relatively new lighting manufacturer specializing in high-quality lighting solutions for the film and television industry. In July 2020, the company launched the Vortex8, a 650W 2×1′ RGBW LED fixture which is waterproof and built to take abuse on set. Later, CreamSource launched the Vortex4, a smaller 325W 1×1′ panel with similar features to its bigger brother but still made with the same durable and long-lasting casing.
