The movie that has been delayed for years finally finished principle photography. Great news coming out of New Zealand today as James Cameron, while talking to Arnold Schwarzenegger on a video call ahead of the 2020 Austrian World Summit environmental conference, stated that filming on Avatar 2 was “100% complete”. The 2009 blockbuster reigned as the box office champion until Avengers: Endgame took it down. We've been waiting for a sequel since then, and there have been many false starts. We know the story is about the oceans, but we really haven't known anything else. Now, Cameron is shooting Avatar 3-5 back to back to back, and he said filming was nearly complete for Avatar 3.
