Artgrid – New Footage Licensing Site by Artlist

Artgrid is new footage licensing site created by the people behind Artlist. It will offer unlimited downloads of footage in up to 8K resolution on a subscription-based model just like Artlist. The site will feature story-driven clip organization and is set to launch in spring 2019. Artlist is a subscription-based music licensing platform. I assume most filmmakers have already heard of it or used it. In less than two years after the official full version launch (link to our our article) Artlist got to a point of introducing another service – the footage licensing site named Artgrid. Online stock footage licensing has been of course already a functioning business for years and there are many sites offering it. Some of them even for free. I will not name any, but simple google search reveals lots of results varying in quality and price. There are subscription-based footage licensing sites already too. So how does Artgrid want to stand out of the crowd? Artgrid – New Footage Licensing Site by Artlist From the short mysterious teaser video we can already see the focus will be on stories. Artgrid claims to have an innovative solution to the painful process of digging through hundreds of clips in order to tell a story. All of the footage will be presented as part of a story created by the filmmakers themselves, rather than standalone clips.
