I spent years learning lessons the hard way so you don't have to. Hey. My name is Ramez Silyan and I'm a director. I've worked on shorts, commercials, and music videos. Recently, I directed the Lil Peep documentary, Everybody's Everything. In it, we see frontman Jesse Rutherford assume the Chrome character and travel from home to home as if on tour, seeking a receptive party. In his travels, he encounters Jaden Smith, Lana Del Rey, Mac DeMarco, Blake Griffin, and Benny Blanco, not to mention his co-star Devon Lee Carlson. It's a companion piece to the video for "Pretty Boy," which I also directed. It took me a decade to get here, and along the way, I learned a lot. The following may feel cliché, but clichés can be useful. Like a broken clock. 5. Listen, read, watch, repeat. Frankly, I don’t know shit.
