Adobe Premiere Pro 6 from CS6
  • Sneak peak at the Adobe Premiere Pro 6 interface:

I see some small improvements but not as much as I hoped.

I did see something about OpenCL as CUDA alternative.

  • Haha home movies in 4K.... Good to see Adobe actually reached out to Conan's crew after their little lambasting of Final Cut X after its release. Still interested to see if Adobe is integrating Speed Grade into After Effects or Premiere CS 6 or both.

  • Screenshot of the UI. Notice how the viewer/canvas icons look like FCPX. They also changed the audio meters.

  • Interesting. We'll see what they'll do at NAB. I'm expecting more from them with this cloud-based subscription and higher price structure.

  • 64 years for a cross dissolve lol.

  • I have been very happy with CUDA running on my $50 GT 240 card, hope they don't change the budget Mercury Engine hack.

  • OpenCL's a godsend for those of us on Macs with ATI cards.

  • Is this a joke with the Conan plates on the desktop? Especially considering the FCP8 mention... Gawd.

  • Great, FCP8. Does that mean they'll give us a price break from FCP7?
